JT Tuxedo John "JT" Thompson has been performing for over 25 years, and has played hundreds of weddings, clubs, and other occasions. Recently he has performed at The Nittany Lion Inn, The Penn Stater, Toftrees Resort, The Blairmont Country Cub, St. Joseph's Institute, The American Ale House, Tussey Mountain Resort, The Elks Country Club, Centre Hills Country Club, Celebration Hall and Eisenhower Chapel at Penn State.   JT plays every Thursday in Bellefonte at The Governors' Pub, and in State College at Zeno's (with the Triple A Blues Band) and The Phyrst (with Maxwell Strait).

If you want live music, JT can provide it. From special music appropriate for your ceremony, to dinner and party music for your reception, John works closely with you to make sure you get the music you want, and strives to make your event a success.

Ceremonial music JT plays include Pachelbel's Canon In D, Air from Handel's Water Music, Beethoven's Ode To Joy, and Mendelssohn's Wedding March.  But don't feel limited to classical music for your wedding -- JT specializes in brides who dare to be different. For them, he's played popular, R&B, and jazz songs for their processional or recessional.
And of course JT plays all the standards at your cocktail party: What A Wonderful World, Wind Beneath My Wings, It Had To Be You, and other classic songs from artists like Frank Sinatra, Etta James, Michael Bublé, and Bobby Darin.
For your reception, JT can bring the party to life weith his great selection of dance tunes pounded out on his keyboard and electric drums. He even doubles as a DJ so you can get down to party favorites like The Cha-Cha Slide, The Cupid Shuffle, Save A Horse (Ride A Cowboy), and of course, The Chicken Dance.
However, if you really want your reception to jump, ask about one of the bands JT plays with: The Triple A Blues Band or Maxwell Strait.
